2017 Great Lakes Hop and Barley Conference

Location: Westin Book Cadillac, 1114 Washington Blvd., Detroit, MI 48226

The Great Lakes Hop and Barley Conference will feature separate basic and advanced sessions for hop growers as well as a barley session and malting tour designed for both growers and brewers.

This year’s Institute of Water Research conference incorporates the ideas generated by MSU's Water Moves, a university-wide initiative fostering scientific innovation and cultural and artistic expression inspired by water.

2017 Winter Grower Produce Safety Course

Michigan State University Extension will host the Food and Drug Administration-defined Produce Safety Alliance Grower Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) certification course at various locations. Anyone interested in learning about Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), produce safety, co-management, and the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act Produce Safety Rule are invited to participate.
